Winterizing Your Hives

October 25, 2009
If you don't have your hives winterized (for Utah) you need to get it done.  Winter is fast approaching and soon it will be to late to open the hive.  Make sure that you allow time to check for disease and mites, timing is everything when it comes to beekeeping.

Now is a good time to start planning on any new hives you might be adding. We will be supplying packages of bees this year, so if you are interested please call or email us.
